Responsibilities

  • Create effective sales strategies to meet sales targets for used tractors and farm equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring a wide range of products are available and aligned with market demand.
  • Set competitive pricing and negotiate deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasting future sales and setting budgetary goals.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and after-sales support.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in sales, particularly in the agricultural, heavy machinery, or related industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of tractors, farm equipment, and the used equipment market.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and financial reports to inform decision-making.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of farm machinery and the ability to convey this knowledge to both the sales team and customers.
  • A degree in business, agriculture, or a related field is often preferred.
